A Capitol Trip

As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently went to Montgomery, Alabama for an academic conference (SEASECS 2017 for those who are interested). While I was there, I got to play tourist for a little while, so I thought I would share my photos with you as a way of describing the trip. Montgomery is a city with a lot of history, and that history can be seen all over the place, so sit back and enjoy the vicarious travel experience. (Hey anything is better than the cold we’re experiencing up north at the moment, right?)

So, that about does it for the sightseeing part of my trip. Have you ever been to Montgomery? Is there something I missed this time around that I should make sure I see if I end up there again? What are some of your favorite travel destinations? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear from you!
